Description

This Washington Nationals lumber lot includes (12) game-used bats with several wielded by members of the inaugural 2005 squad. Weapons exhibit varying degrees of game use and include: Belliard (2007 MLB Authentication), Boone (2008), Dukes, (2008), Guillen (2005), Guzman (2008), Harris (2008), N. Johnson (2006), F. Ronnie Belliard 2007 Game-Used Bat: a Phoenix Bat Co. (34.7-oz/34”) “S273” model (no player name) with a glossy black “Smith” finish. Incredible game use is evident with ball, bat-rack and deeply embedded stitch marks throughout, as well as transposed OML ball stampings, pine-tar residue and a lengthy handle crack. On the knob, Belliard’s number “10” is inscribed in gold-colored marker. A 10-1/4” layer of crisscross athletic tape extends from the flare knob to the upper portion of the handle. Aaron Boone 2008 Game-Used Bat: a Rawlings-Adirondack (32.8-oz/33-3/4”) “L82B” block-letter model with a glossy black “Smith” finish and silver-colored barrel stampings. The uncracked lumber shows light use with ball, bat-rack and surface marks about the barrel. There are silver marker notations of “8” on the knob and barrel end. LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

 

Elijah Dukes 2008 Game-Used Bat: a Phoenix Bat Co. (36.5-oz/35”) “P172” block-letter model with a cupped end. The uncracked maple war club shows outstanding game use with ball, bat-rack and stitch marks about the barrel, as well as light remnants of a gripping agent on the handle and black marker notations of “ED 34” on the knob. Jose Guillen 2005 Game-Used Bat: a Sam Bat (35.7-oz/34-1/8”) “JB1” block-letter model with a cupped end. The gamer shows incredible game use attributes with ball, bat-rack, cleat and deeply embedded stitch marks throughout, as well as scoring, excessive pine-tar residue and a small crack on the handle. Cristian Guzman 2008 Game-Used Bat: a Max Bat (34.3-oz.34”) “AS12” block-letter model with a semi-cupped end. The item shows solid game use with ball, bat-rack and deeply embedded stitch marks about the barrel. The handle is home to a crack whose length is obscured by an 11” layer of athletic tape and heavy pine-tar reside (some of which extends past the center brand). There are black marker notations of “15” on the knob and barrel end. MLB Authentication hologram and LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

 

Willie Harris 2008 Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (31.5-oz/33-1/2”) “T141” block-letter model with a cupped end. The model shows heavy use with ball, bat-rack and stitch marks about the barrel, as well as grain swelling and a slice of wood missing from the hitting surface. The handle is home to heavy pine-tar residue and a small crack, while a 1” layer of athletic tape lines the knob/lower handle. LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

 

Nick Johnson 2005-2009 Game-Used Bat: an X Bat (33.9/34”) “PP” block-letter two-toned model with a brown handle and tan barrel. The weapon shows moderate use with bat-rack and surface marks about the barrel, as well as excessive pine-tar residue and a small crack on the handle. There are fiber tip marker notations of “24” on the knob and barrel end. LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

 

Felipe Lopez 2007 Game-Used Bat: a Max Bat (34.6-oz/34”) “TYS” block-letter model with a glossy black “Smith” finish. The uncracked weapon shows fantastic game use with ball, bat-rack and deeply embedded stitch marks confined to the hitting surface, as well as transposed stampings from OML balls, pine-tar residue and a 7-1/4” layer of tape on the handle. There are silver marker notations of “2” on both the knob and cupped end. LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.

 

Brian Schneider 2007 Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (31.6-oz/34”) “C271S” signature model with a glossy black “Smith” finish and silver-colored stampings. The weapon shows excellent game use with ball, bat-rack and deeply embedded stitch marks throughout, as well as pine-tar residue and a small crack on the handle and a faded silver marker notation of “23” on the knob. Alfonso Soriano 2006 Signed Game-Used Bat: a Max Bat (35.3-oz/35” “AS12” signature model with a cupped end. The uncracked weapon shows moderate use with ball, bat-rack and surface marks throughout, as well as light pine-tar residue about the handle and black marker notation of “12” on the knob and barrel end. Soriano has signed the barrel in black marker (“9” strength) and inscribed “12.” LOA from John Taube. PSA/DNA.

 

Jose Vidro 2005-2006 Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (32.3-oz/34”) “I13” signature model with a glossy black “Smith” finish and silver-colored stampings. The uncracked maple lumber shows heavy use with ball, bat=rack and deeply embedded stitch marks throughout, as well as pine-tar residue on the handle, a weighted donut impression and silver marker notations of “3” on the knob and cupped end. Brad Wilkerson 2005 Game-Used Bat: a Dinger (35-oz/34”) “BW-6” signature model with a glossy black “Smith” finish and a defined center brand with white identifiers. The uncracked Illinois-turned lumber shows solid game use with ball, bat-rack and deeply embedded stitch marks about the hitting surface, as well and pine-tar residue on the handle and gold-colored marker notations of “7” on the knob and barrel end.
