With his World Series exploits in the past, Reggie Jackson took his act to the West Coast, where he won his fourth single-season home run crown (1982) and launched his 500th career circuit clout as a member of the California Angels. During the 1984 campaign in which Jackson realized the latter feat, he wielded this Rawlings-Adirondack “288RJ” (33.7-oz/34-1/2”) block-letter model. The uncracked ash weapon features a black “Smith” finish and shows moderate use with ball and bat-rack marks throughout. Full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.
