After being named MVP of the AA Texas League (.335, 19 HRs, 85 RBIs), Elliott was a September call-up to the '72 Padres. He donned uniform number "10"—which was regularly worn during that period by Dave Campbell (a.k.a. "Soup"). Beneath the "10" here there is also a removed "9" that does not correspond to any rostered player. The groovy mustard-colored design features trim on the sleeves and sides. A flap tag on the Rawlings size 42 label reads, "SET 1 / #8P / 1972." Moderate overall wear.
