Having established himself as the game’s all-time career home run leader at the tender age of 26, Babe Ruth was decidedly more astounding after the record was his, setting the bar higher and higher with seasons of 29, 54 and 59 round-trippers. As if to “preview” his epic 1927 campaign, Ruth stole the show in the 1926 Fall Classic, launching three home runs in Game 4 to power the Yanks to a 10-5 triumph. Encapsulated and Graded GOOD 2 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Sportsman’s Park for that October 6 contest in which Ruth reached Cardinals starter Flint Rhem for two homers and added a third against reliever Hi Bell. With printed seating/event details and the facsimile signature of cards owner Sam Breadon, the voucher presents nicer than the technical assessment suggests.
