After taking his '75 Red Sox to Game 7 of the World Series and garnering Manager of the Year honors, Darrell Johnson skippered the junior circuit in the '76 Mid-Summer Classic. Just 6 days later (and 10 days after Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey died), Johnson was unceremoniously fired! Offered is his Balfour quasar-plus, size 11 ring crowned with a raised baseball on a red stone. The shanks display "JOHNSON" on the Liberty Bell design and then the MLB logo over "76" on the other side. NM condition. A vintage metal-trim box is included.
