One would be hard-pressed to call this ring anything other than a salesman's sample, and yet in lieu of the typical ID number coding inside the band, it's unusually engraved with Robinson's full name—and most Jenkins Company samples did not even feature him as the subject, but rather Brooks Robinson or Jim Palmer. We also cannot confirm that the "J" copyright mark inside the band corresponds with any Jenkins mark that we've seen before. What we can say with certainty is that the 10K, size 11-1/2 ring is a beautiful, if enigmatic, O's memento featuring a CZ stone set within Memorial Stadium, as well as intricate shank designs of an enameled Orioles cap and "American League / 1966-1969-1970 Champions" eagle emblem. NM except for a few tiny, negligible dings on the rim of the band. A vintage metal-trim ring box is also included.
