A Philly fan favorite with the club’s all-time record for career hits, perennial Gold Glover Jimmy Rollins wore this Phillies home ensemble during the club’s 2009 National League championship season. Includes:
Jersey: a cream-colored micromesh button-down garment with “Phillies” embroidered to a cream-colored twill plate in red cursive with a blue outline, complete with blue five-point stars to dot the “i’s.” On the back, “11” is sewn to red twill and “ROLLINS” is arched just above in like fashion. On the right sleeve, a patch commemorates the club’s 2008 World Series title. On the upper left front, a black patch has “HK” embroidered in white in tribute to fallen announcer Harry Kalas. An MLB silhouette logo adorns the upper back, while blue-and-red striped piping lines the collar and sleeve endings. The tapered left front tail is home to an applique “Majestic” size “46” label. The left side seam’s interior features a tag denoting “-2” body” and a fabric content tag with a “0063” gamer code. At the bottom of the right-side button path, a swatch has a chain stitched “09” identifier.
Pants: cream-colored knit leg wear with seven belt loops, two micromesh-lined back pockets and a two-button zippered fly. Blue-and-red striped trim lines the outer legs, while the elasticized waistband’s interior features a “Majestic” label and a lengthy swatch with stitched identifiers reading: ’11 Rollins 34-37 19 OB 09.”
The items show light wear and come with a hologram from MLB Authentication. The MLB database indicates that the jersey was worn during the July 26 game against the St. Louis Cardinals
