A big jacket for a BIG Papi! This Minnesota Twins jacket was worn and signed by slugger David Ortiz during his tenure (1997-2002) in the Twin Cities. The blue nylon button-down garment features red sleeves and “Twins” sewn across the chest in red-on-white twill. On the right shoulder, Ortiz has signed in silver marker (“9” strength) and inscribed “game – 27.” Solid use is evident. More on our website.
Tailored by “Majestic,” the size “XXL” garment has two front pockets and features red-and-blue striped stretch ribbed knit lining the collar, shoulders, waistline and sleeve endings. There are (2) “Majestic” labels within the quilted lining. Evidence of use includes wear along the right shoulder. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
