Milburn's claim to fame is that he was forced to resign from his captaincy after being banned from intercollegiate athletics (along with four Yale teammates) for playing summer-league baseball in Quogue, Long Island. His Near Mint heavy wool sweater has an "Arthur M. Milburn" name tag inside the collar and prominent "Y" on the left breast. Garments of this period virtually never display such fine preservation! An unrelated period "YALE" banner measures approximately 4-1/2 feet x 2-1/2 feet and boasts the original 6 tassels intact along the top edge. Highly displayable EX overall with scattered minuscule holes and a stain on the "L".
