Worthy of a museum showcase, this prestigious trio hails from the collection of Arthur Kaufmann, an American lawyer and Buddhist practitioner who devoted the final years of his life to the service of the Tibetan people and their spiritual leader H.H. the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. Two pieces depict the internationally renowned icon in ceremonial regalia, and one shows a wonderful view of his regal throne-like perch. All are beautifully framed for display and feature black-Sharpie "9-10" signatures in the Dalai Lama's dynamic Tibetan handwriting style. Includes: 1) 11x14 limited-edition 1996 photo (#17/108) by Allan W. King. 2) 16x20 photo by John Smart of a 1974 Kalachakra Initiation in Bodhgaya, India, printed in 1997 by Snow Lion Publications. 3) 12x18 photo. Auction LOA from JSA.
