Even though we live in the Information Age, little is known of the 1955 Felin's Franks series, arguably the most elusive of all the Fifties "hot dog" issues. The scarcity of this issue is evident when even industry sources cannot pinpoint the exact origin of distribution. Some have speculated that the Felin's Franks (Phillies) and Hunter Wieners (Cardinals) issues were distributed by same vendor due to their similar "Whose Record is This?" and "What's My Name? What's My Record?" quiz captions. This monumental 1955 Felin’s Franks full panel features #9 Bobby Morgan. Measures 4-1/2 x 3-5/8” and features factory-issued light wax coating. Despite a slight spider crease ascending from the upper left edge through the left side of the veteran's cap, this artifact otherwise presents in (VG to EX) condition. The round-cornered card is surrounded by a red border and portrait of Morgan with the 1954 statistics of a second player on the right hand portion of the piece. The “Official Rules” reverse is bright and clean.
