Description

With baseball back to stay in the District of Columbia, this lot of (17) keepsakes is sure to fire up any Nats fan! Highlights include: Game-Used Baseball: an OML orb used in the October 1, 2012 contest in which the Nationals clinched their first-ever division title (MLB Authentication hologram); (2) Champagne Bottles: “Korbel” glass bottles (one natural, one brut) used in the Nationals locker room to celebrate their 2012 division title clinching (MLB Authentication holograms). More on our website.

The above-mentioned game-used baseball was fouled into the stands by Jayson Werth in the bottom of the 5th inning. An additional OML baseball has a “2008 Nationals Park Inaugural Season” logo stamping and shows definitive game use but has no authentication.

The champagne bottles are open and, of course, empty. While the Nats were defeated by the Phillies that night, they learned of their clinching as second place Atlanta was simultaneously felled by Pittsburgh, leaving the Braves three games out with only two left to play.

Also included are:

(2) JERSEYS:

Manny Acta Signed Washington Nationals Home Jersey: a white knit pullover garment with twill identifiers and retail “Majestic” size “44” tagging. On the angled portion of the back twill “4,” Acta has signed in black marker (“9” strength) and inscribed “14.”

Homestead Grays Throwback Jersey: a cream-colored knit button-down garment with “GRAYS” arched across the chest in red-on-black felt and “3” sewn to the back in like fashion. Within the collar, an “Ebbets Field Flannels” label is accompanied by a size “XX Large” tag.

(2) COMMEMORATIVE BATS:

Both 34” Louisville Slugger models from a limited edition of 205. One is tan and one has a glossy black “Smith” finish. Both have barrel stampings reading “OPENING DAY 2005 – APRIL 14, 2005” and both Nationals and Arizona Diamondback logos between the center brand and barrel stampings.

(7) STADIUM-ISSUED BOBBLEHEAD DOLLS:

All are in the original box. Includes: Ian Desmond (2011); Davey Johnson (2013); Wilson Ramos (2014); Denard Span (2014); Bill Taft (2014); Jayson Werth (2011); Jordan Zimmerman (2014).

Also included are (2) stadium-issued Washington Nationals logo scarves.
