A key component on the 2006 world champion Cardinals roster, keystone sacker Ronnie Belliard signed with his fifth of six different suitors and joined the Washington Nationals in 2007. As he exacted a bit of revenge on the team that let him go, Belliard wore and signed this Homestead Grays jersey in an August 3, 2007 triumph over the Redbirds. The cream-colored knit button-down garment features twill identifiers and is signed on the back “1” in silver marker (“8” strength). More on our website.
The cream-colored flannel button-down garment features “GRAYS” arched across the chest in blue twill and “10” sewn to the back in like fashion. The letters and numerals are displayed in “Dirty Sox” font. Blue piping lines the collar, button path and sleeve endings, while blue trim lines the shoulders. The tapered left front tail is home to an “AIS” size “48” label and a flap tag denoting “2.” All-original and unaltered, the jersey shows appropriate single-event wear and comes with an MLB Authentication hologram. There are stains about the front of the jersey from what appears to be infield dirt and tobacco juice.
