Three games into a season-high six-game winning streak, the 2007 Washington Nationals paid tribute to their Negro League predecessors as they donned “Homestead Grays” uniforms and Ryan Zimmerman delivered a walk-off single to defeat the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals, 3-2 at RFK Stadium. This jersey was worn and signed by Zimmerman that night! The cream-colored knit button-down garment features twill identifiers and is signed on the first back “1” in silver marker (“8” strength). The cream-colored flannel button-down garment features “GRAYS” arched across the chest in blue twill and “11” sewn to the back in like fashion. The letters and numerals are displayed in “Dirty Sox” font. Blue piping lines the collar, button path and sleeve endings, while blue trim lines the shoulders. The tapered left front tail is home to an “AIS” size “50” label. All-original and unaltered, the jersey shows appropriate single-event wear and comes with an MLB Authentication hologram.
