With an MVP honor to his credit, Brooks Robinson helped Baltimore to its first World Series title and baseball’s best record during the 1960s. This Hillerich & Bradsby (33.9-oz/34-1/2”) “MC44” signature model bat was manufactured for Robinson during the 1965-1967 labeling period. Heavy use is evident with ball, bat-rack, cleat and stitch marks throughout, as well as checking on the hitting surface, heavy pine-tar residue and a handle crack secured by nails and tape. The PSA/DNA LOA states (in part): “After a thorough examination of this Brooks Robinson professional model bat, and its player use characteristics, it is our opinion the bat is authentic and was manufactured for Robinson during the referenced labeling period. Use by Robinson cannot be confirmed.”
