Detailed description of website.
With his fifth different suitor and in his third decade, ageless wonder Tommy John wore and signed this California Angels warm-up jacket during the 1985 season. The blue nylon zippered garment features two front pockets and “Angels” arched across the chest in red-on-white twill with a yellow twill “halo” atop the “A.” Within the 3-1/2”-wide collar, a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “46” tag is accompanied by a cloth hanger and an identification label which John has signed in blue marker (“8” strength) and inscribed “25.” The left sleeve is home to a California state silhouette team logo patch, while an Angels 25th anniversary patch adorns the right sleeve. Red stretch ribbed knit lines the waistline and sleeve endings. Moderate wear. Auction LOA from JSA.
