Description

In the midst of a dynastic run the Chicago Cubs made their name official in 1907 and then went on to beat the Detroit Tigers to win the franchise’s first World Series title. Celebrate the Cubbies distant success with this graded lot of P.F. Grignon postcards. These scarce cards feature a “teddy bear” in various poses against a bright green background with individual Cub player photos inset at top right. Present are: John Evers SGC PR; Orvie Overall SGC VG; and Jack Taylor with schedule back SGC PR. Evers and Taylor are addressed/postmarked, Overall is unused.
