NOTE: This title has been modified to reflect that it is infact a bat from his MVP season of 1990.

In every facet of the game, numbers associated with Rickey Henderson are nothing short of astounding. Having finished in the top 10 in the MVP balloting no fewer than five times already, “The Man of Steal” embarked on the 1990 season as a defending World Series champion. In his second of four tours of duty with Oakland (his first of nine different Major League suitors), Henderson earned MVP plaudits as he brandished and autographed this Louisville Slugger (30.7-oz/34”) “T141” signature model bat. Graded GU 10 by John Taube, PSA/DNA, the uncracked white ash weapon is signed in silver marker (“8” strength) and shows outstanding game use! Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA and auction LOA from JSA. More on our website.

The uncracked weapon exhibits evidence of outstanding game use with ball marks and a plethora of deeply embedded stitch impressions about the barrel. There is an ample coat of pine tar about the handle and a white paint pen notation of “24” on the knob. Between the center brand and barrel stampings, Henderson has signed in silver marker (“8” strength).
