Detailed description on website.
Wielded and autographed by Rickey Henderson during a 1991 campaign that saw him become the all-time stolen base leader, this Louisville Slugger (29.3-oz/34”) “H239” signature model bat is a tried and true weapon from arguably the most prolific leadoff hitter the game has ever known. Graded GU 9 by John Taube, PSA/DNA, the uncracked ash lumber features a black “Smith” finish and silver-colored barrel stampings. Excellent game use is evident with ball and deeply embedded stitch marks about the barrel, as well as transposed stampings from OAL Brown baseballs. Between the center brand and barrel stampings, Henderson has signed in silver marker (“8” strength) and inscribed “24.” The handle has been scored by Henderson (resulting in removal of the black finish) to enhance the grip. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA (for bat use) and auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
