Detailed description on website.

Blending with young sluggers Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson played his 1987 swan song in Oakland and launched his final 15 career home runs to help the Athletics to their first non-losing season since 1981. This A’s cap was worn and autographed by the outspoken superstar during that ’87 campaign. The green wool accessory features a yellow bill, “A’s” embroidered to the front center in white and a yellow button atop the six-point crown suspension. On the bill, Jackson’s fiber tip marker endorsement shows (“7”) strength and clarity. On the bill’s underside, Jackson’s number “44” is inscribed in black marker. The interior sweatband is home to a “New Era” label that dates to 1985-1987. Moderate wear is evident with perspiration-induced soiling about the sweatband. Remnants of the size tag remain. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
