Coming off their first franchise championship in 1955 the “Boys of Summer” made a serious run at back to back World Series titles. Seeking revenge in the 1956 rematch Mickey Mantle and the Yankees put an end to the Dodgers dream winning the hard fought series in seven games. Home runs by “Yogi” Berra and “Duke” Snider propelled the represented Game 2 to a final score of 13-8, with Brooklyn coming out on top in the highest scoring contest of the series. Rated VG-EX 4 by PSA, the offered stub is solid souvenir of this offensive barrage with a classic design and an interesting color scheme showing boldly.
