The first meeting between the AFL and the NFL for supremacy of the football world took place on 1/15/67 in sunny California. This clash of the titans featuring the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs would go on to become Super Bowl I. Celebrate the origin of our biggest national holiday (yeah we know it’s unofficial, but so what) with this “Coliseum Staff” game day pass. With deference to inconsequential strips of tape at top and bottom, this sturdy survivor remains crisp and solid, showing approximate EX details with only very minor traces of soiling and one pinhead-sized dot of surface loss. Printed on light green cardboard stock, the bold printed text reads as “World Championship Game, Los Angeles Coliseum, Sunday, January 15, 1967-1 P.M.” and is numbered at bottom with “000166”. Central region AFL and NFL logos complete the design of this important big game souvenir. Offered at a very reasonable starting price, this key piece of football history is a no brainer.
