Description

Production quality is impressively high here with deluxe embossed graphics and real mini-photos. Each 6-1/2 x 3-5/8" cachet is hand-addressed at lower right and postmarked June 12, 1939—the first Induction Day at Cooperstown. Ruth's caption reads, "Possessor of the stout arms, the stout heart and the sharp eye that picked only the best ones, but when he did pick one, how he hit it." The Big Bam is joined by Wagner (2 - one partially opened at top edge), Cobb, Doubleday and B. Johnson. EX-MT condition overall.
