Description

Sluggers from the 1980s wielded these professional model weapons. Includes:

Tommy Herr 1985 Game-Used Bat: a Rawlings-Adirondack (34-oz/33-1/2”) “202S” signature model with a black “Smith” finish and flare knob. The lumber shows light game use with bat-rack and surface marks throughout, as well as a 4” crack that extends from the handle to the center brand. Herr’s number “28” is inscribed on the knob in white paint pen.

Did you know … ? Tommy Herr is the only player in World Series history to drive in two runs on a sacrifice fly. He did so in the second inning of Game 4 of the 1982 Fall Classic.

Pete Incaviglia 1986 Game-Used Bat: a Cooper “PRO 100” (35.8-oz/34-4/5”) signature model. The uncracked model shows light use and has a faded black marker notation of “29” on the knob.

Dave Parker 1983 Game-Used Bat: a “Louisville Slugger” (33.6-oz/36”) “P72S” signature model with a Hornsby-style knob. Heavy use is evident with ball, stitch, bat-rack and surface marks about the barrel, as well as grain swelling/checking about the hitting surface and a handle crack that has been secured by a series of vintage bat boy nails.
