Description

In that magical year of the sole Senators world championship, Philly's leading newspaper produced this 6-1/2"-long ribbon with silver trim and embossed silver lettering, "The Philadelphia Inquirer / World's Series Tourists 1924." A remarkable survivor for such a fragile medium, the offered example rates NM and retains its reverse-side label for local manufacturer "James Spencer & Co. Badges Buttons, Etc."
