Coaching third base for a well-oiled machine that made its eighth of a record 13 consecutive postseason appearances, Willie Randolph wore and autographed these New York Yankees home pants during the 2002 season. The white knit leg wear features a blue pinstripe pattern, seven belt loops, two micromesh-lined back pockets and a two-button zippered fly. Within the elasticized waistband, a “Russell Athletic” size “36” label is accompanied by a strip tag with printed identifiers reading “30-RANDOLPH-35/38-31-02,” as well as flap tags respectively denoting “-1” In Waist H Cut” and “-1” Taper Leg.” On the waistband’s rear interior, Randolph has signed (“Willie” only) in blue marker (“8” strength) and added a personalization. The pants show moderate game wear with dirt and grass stains on the back. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
