Detailed description on website.

A Yankee Stadium fixture so revered that players like Derek Jeter demanded his vocal introductions be recorded and played after he retired, legendary public address announcer Bob Sheppard composed and autographed these (2) poems. Framed to 16-1/8 x 13-1/8” under a blue matte, two sheets of Sheppard’s personalized New York Yankees stationery include:

The Super Bowl is history.

How I predicted the Patriots is a mystery.

My prognosticating skill is pure fiction,

But I’ll try just one more prediction.

The Marlins, the Red Sox,

The Cardinals, the Mets

Are all considered World Series bets.

But I’ll ignore that early talk

And pick the Yankees of New York!

At the time this poem is being written,

Twelve teams are vying for post-season play.

Only the wisest seer could dare tell you,

Which two of the twelve will be there to stay.

To make a prediction is risky at best,

And if I am wrong, I guess you can sue us;

But among the twelve teams that seem to be in it …

It seems to me now that St. Louis will win it.
