In defense of their only World Series triumph during their years in Flatbush, the Brooklyn Dodgers were a hot commodity in 1956. In fact, clubhouse personnel routinely rendered players autographs on baseballs that year (and did so quite convincingly!) This ONL Giles ball showcases (23) “clubhouse” signatures. At a glance, the scripting appear to match those of the actual “Bums.” The mildly toned sphere features: Sweet Spot: Alston; North Panel: Amoros, Snider, Reese, Furillo, Walker, Cimoli, Bessent; South Panel: Roebuck, Hodges, Gilliam, Nelson, Koufax, Neal; West Panel: J. Robinson, Campanella, Erskine; East Panel: Jackson, Lehman, Newcombe, Labine, Maglie, Craig. Full photo LOA from JSA.
