The consignor of our ongoing "Mr. Hockey Collection" also amassed a fair share of non-Gordie Howe material from Red Wings history. This Sherwood PMPG stick was wielded by goalie Corrado Micalef who had won the Jaques Plante Award at the junior level and was later named Wings' Rookie of the Year. He played for Canada in the 1986 World Championship before embarking on a decade-long career in Europe. The butt and blade are taped, while the shaft is stamped "MICALEF C" and notated with his rookie-year number "30." Heavy overall usage with a splintered bottom blade edge held together by the taping. Accompanied by Micalef's 2012 In the Game "Motown Madness" autograph card #A-CM.
