The presence of obscure outfielder Sheldon Lejeune dates the 4-in-1 Dodgers slide to 1911, and he's joined by teammates Bill Schardt, player/manager Bill Dahlen and pitching ace Nap Rucker—who enjoyed a banner season with 22 wins, a 2.71 ERA and 5 shutouts. For the Cubs, individual shots of Johnny Evers and Tom Needham accompany a panoramic team photo (in civilian clothes) with Peerless Leader Frank Chance. The nicely captioned glass slides measure 4 x 3-1/4". Their all-important central image areas are EX-MT/NM, with typical surrounding age wear in part resulting from partially intact paper-tape borders.
