Often overshadowed by their championship seasons, 1931 still saw the Yankees capture 94 wins and average nearly 7 runs per game! Gehrig amassed a career-high of 185 RBIs, and he equaled Ruth's 46 HRs in what turned out to be the Babe's 12th and final home-run crown. This red-and-blue seamed OAL (Harridge) ball is shellacked, scuffed and darkly toned yet displays quite nicely with a charming period aesthetic. It's dated "July 1931" in an unknown hand and features black-ink sigs ranging from "3-9": Ruth (ss, "7-8"), Gehrig ("9"), Ruffing ("8-9"), Combs ("8-9"), Lazzeri ("7-8"), Dickey ("3"), Lary, H. Johnson, Bennett (mascot), Fletcher, Reese, Jorgens, Cooke, Byrd, Perkins, Weaver and I. Andrews. Full LOA from JSA.

The JSA Cert Number for this baseball is Y72820.
